Addicting little mocha cookies!

This afternoon I got a hankering for my favorite Christmas cookies. I saw them in Taste of Home 2 or 3 years ago, and I wanted to make them, so I did.

They were called Mocha Nut Balls. I think calling them Addicting Little Mocha Cookies is totes more fun. Plus I never put nuts in.

Here is the recipe! It is supes easy. Make some, now!

Addicting Little Mocha Cookies.
Makes about 4 dozen.

1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1-3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup baking cocoa
1 Tbsp instant coffee granules
1 cup finely chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Powdered sugar

Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add in flour, cocoa, and coffee and (if applicable) nuts and mix well. Roll into 1-1/2 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 325 for 13-14 minutes (until firm). Cool on pans 1-2 min, roll warm cookies in powdered sugar and set on wire racks to finish cooling.

Sister joins in for a picture, and gets her hair in my cookies. Thank you sister!
